- The domain and generated username of the device will be displayed in plain text. To regenerate the device password, click Generate New Password.
- A window will display and ask if you are sure you want to change your password. Click OK to continue.
- A new password will be displayed.
Note: Take note of this password. You will not be able to retrieve this password once you navigate away from the Device edit page.
Alternative: Autoregistering a Poly Device
Certain Poly devices support autoregistration to One Touch Dial. Autoregistration allows a device to use its own credentials to retrieve a calendar through One Touch Dial. To make this work, One Touch Dial attempts to passthrough the device credentials to the cloud provider, but due to protocol and security restraints this is only an option for the following configuration.
Note: Autoregistered devices will appear in the One Touch Dial application automatically once connected, but cannot be managed like registered devices. They can be given a name, and enabled/disabled, but their calendaring email cannot be modified.
- Calendar Provider must be Office 365 (a.k.a. Exchange Online).
